Free Website Audit

Find Out What Is Holding Your Website Back.

A BTB website audit gives you a practical first look at the issues that may be hurting usability, search visibility, performance, trust, and lead generation. The goal is clarity, not a 40-page pile of technical noise.

Start With What Matters

Most Websites Have Problems. Not All Problems Deserve the Same Attention.

It is easy to find dozens of things that could be changed on almost any website. The useful question is which issues are actually costing the business visibility, credibility, leads, or time.

BTB reviews the public-facing website from both a business and technical perspective, then highlights the areas that appear most worth addressing first.

This is not designed to overwhelm you with jargon. It is designed to help you understand where the site is strong, where it is weak, and what deserves attention next.

The Audit Looks Across the Whole Visitor Journey

Search Visibility
Mobile Usability
Performance
Trust & Messaging
Lead Path

Illustrative only. Your audit is based on your actual website.

What We Review

Six Areas That Can Quietly Hold a Website Back

SEO & Search Visibility

Review page structure, headings, content focus, obvious keyword gaps, local relevance, internal linking, and basic search-readiness issues.

Speed & Performance

Look for visible performance concerns, heavy pages, slow-loading experiences, and technical symptoms that may deserve deeper testing.

Mobile Usability

Check layout, spacing, buttons, readability, navigation, and whether important visitor paths make sense on smaller screens.

Trust & Messaging

Review the first impression, clarity of services, credibility signals, proof, contact information, and whether the site feels trustworthy.

Calls to Action & Lead Paths

Look at forms, buttons, service-page flow, contact paths, and whether visitors are given a clear next step.

W

WordPress & Divi Concerns

Identify obvious layout, structure, plugin, theme, or Divi issues that can be seen from the public-facing site and deserve further investigation.

What You Get

A Useful Shortlist, Not a Robot-Generated Data Dump

A good website audit should help you make decisions. It should not hand you fifty warnings with no explanation of which five actually matter.

  • Clear findings written in plain English
  • Priority direction on what appears most important
  • Explanation of why those issues matter to the business
  • Practical next-step recommendations
  • Honest guidance when the current website can be improved instead of replaced
No automatic rebuild pitch.
If the current website still has a good foundation, improving it may be the smarter recommendation.
What This Is Not

A Free Audit Is Not a Full Forensic Technical Investigation

The initial audit reviews what can reasonably be learned from the public-facing website and available tools. It does not promise penetration testing, forensic malware analysis, server-level diagnostics, guaranteed rankings, or a complete development estimate.

If the audit uncovers signs of a deeper WordPress problem, we may recommend Website Rescue & Troubleshooting as the next step.

Simple Process

How the Free Website Audit Works

1

Send the Website

Provide the website address and tell us what concerns you most.

2

BTB Reviews It

We review the public-facing site across usability, SEO, performance, trust, and lead paths.

3

We Prioritize

The important findings are separated from lower-impact cosmetic issues.

4

You Get Direction

You receive practical recommendations and can decide what, if anything, you want to do next.

No WordPress login is normally needed for the initial audit. If deeper troubleshooting is later recommended, access can be discussed separately.
A Better Starting Point

Sometimes the Website Is Not Broken. It Is Just Underperforming.

That distinction matters. A site may load, look acceptable, and still fail to explain the business clearly, rank for useful searches, build trust, or turn visitors into inquiries.

Low Visibility

Important services are not showing up well in search or local results.

Weak Lead Flow

Traffic arrives, but calls, forms, or inquiries are disappointing.

Dated Experience

The site feels old, cluttered, confusing, or difficult to use on mobile.

Technical Friction

Pages are slow, layouts break, forms misbehave, or the site has accumulated years of patchwork.

Unclear Messaging

Visitors have to work too hard to understand what you do, who you help, or why they should trust you.

Considering a Rebuild

You want an independent look before investing in a new website that may or may not be necessary.

Who This Is For

A Good Fit for Businesses That Know the Website Should Be Doing More

Request an Audit If

  • Your website generates few leads
  • You are unsure why Google visibility is weak
  • The mobile experience feels poor
  • The site looks dated or confusing
  • You are considering a redesign or rebuild
  • You simply do not know what to fix first

You May Need a Different Starting Point If

  • The website is currently down or throwing critical errors
  • You already know the exact technical issue and need repair
  • You need forensic malware cleanup or server-level security work
  • You are looking for guaranteed rankings or instant lead promises

For active failures, start with Website Rescue.

Jupiter, Florida & Remote Audits

Local Perspective Without Limiting the Service Area

BTB Web Designs is based in Jupiter, Florida and understands the importance of local search visibility for businesses serving Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, Tequesta, Juno Beach, West Palm Beach, and surrounding areas.

The audit itself can also be completed remotely for businesses outside South Florida.

Where the Audit Can Lead

Depending on what the review uncovers, the next step may be SEO, Maintenance, Website Growth, Website Rescue, or a Website Rebuild.

Sometimes the right recommendation is simply to fix a few things and leave the rest alone.

Free Website Audit Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the website audit really free?

Yes. The initial website audit is intended as a practical first review of the public-facing site and the most important opportunities BTB can identify without beginning a paid project.

Do you need my WordPress login?

Usually not for the initial audit. We can learn a great deal from the public-facing website and available public tools. If deeper troubleshooting is later recommended, access can be discussed then.

What will you review?

The review can cover first impression and trust, mobile usability, calls to action, basic SEO and page structure, visible performance concerns, and obvious WordPress or Divi issues.

Will the audit tell me whether I need a new website?

It can help answer that question. BTB does not assume every weak website needs replacement. If targeted improvements appear more sensible than a rebuild, that is a valid recommendation.

Does the audit guarantee better Google rankings or more leads?

No. The audit identifies improvement opportunities. Rankings and lead generation depend on competition, demand, traffic quality, offers, sales follow-up, and many factors beyond the website itself.

Am I required to hire BTB afterward?

No. The audit is designed to give you useful direction. If you want BTB to help implement the recommendations, we can discuss that separately.
